‘Selected Fine Art & Illustration

Selected work: 1988 - 2013.

This work spans many years, subjects and mediums while living and studying in NYC, the Hudson Valley of NY and SF Bay Area. I am very grateful for the opportunity to collaborate, and be a part of the projects that I have.

This print features the names of 28 Mexican immigrants who died anonymously in a plane crash near Coalinga, California, in 1948. This occurrence, the way it was reported in the media inspired Woody Guthrie’s lyrics to "The Plane Crash at Los Gatos Canyon" or "Deportees". 65 years later on Labor Day Sep. 2, 2013, thanks to the research and $10,000. raised by Tim Z. Hernandez, there is now a headstone that names and pays respect to these people for the first time in history. For more information and updates
